Perched on a ski slope at 1550 m a.s.l., Alpenrose is the highest-altitude hotel in the upper part of the Gerlitzen Alpen. It is a true haven with a relaxing ambience that provides a welcome contrast to the bustle of city life. The hotel rooms and deck afford spectacular views. This marvelous spectacle of nature can be enjoyed every morning as the rays of sunshine brighten up your room. The monumental Alps and clear, warm lakes are the region’s fabled natural attractions.

The spacious hotel deck faces the southern slope, affording plenty of sun in summer and winter alike. Alpenrose is situated on a Gerlitzen slope, several kilometers from the town of Villach in Carinthia, near the point of convergence of the national boundaries of Austria, Italy, and Slovenia. As the southernmost Austrian state, Carinthia is the sunniest region of the country, offering superb skiing conditions from December to April.

The hotel has 30 cozy rooms accommodating 2 to 6 persons each. Every room features a full en suite bathroom, a TV set and complimentary Internet access on all floors. In addition, Alpenrose has a restaurant with a bar, a disco, and an 80 m2 common room.
